About time I got back into this. Well we (Sequence where I work) have had quite a long running intensive project on our hands that has taken up a lot of my development time. Thankfully the project is in the process of becomming live and I will be able to do more blogging and the stuff I enjoy doing. So watch this space for more.

Until then I am stuck with this crappy site ;) By the way if your not here because of twitter you can follow me on @mikehole

As you may know there is a API that exist for developer to integrate the live services offerings into your web site. Go to dev.live.com to find out more. The main problem I find is that these services can tend to be overkill and you find you have to sign up for application keys etc. We had a customer that wanted to add a web based chat system to their site but had a limited budget to spend on making this addition to their site. Rather than going down the live framework route I suggested that we use the web
